Volunteer Opportunities

Innocence Project of Minnesota is a volunteer based nonprofit organization. IPMN's work could not be accomplished without the hard work of our many dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds which include local attorneys, investigators, forensic scientists, students, and concerned citizens. For more information about volunteering, please contact Erika Applebaum by email or at 651.523.3152.

Pro Bono Partnership
IPMN has created pro bono partnerships with leading law firms in Minnesota. The firms provide legal and investigation assistance and IPMN provides the training and case coordination. For more information about how your firm can participate, please contact Julie Jonas by email or at 651.523.3152.

Law Student Volunteers
Law students are encouraged to volunteer with IPMN. Minnesota law schools encourage their students to perform at least fifty hours of pro bono legal work during law school. Please visit Minnesota Justice Foundation (MJF) for more information about how your volunteer hours with IPMN can be applied to this goal.
